I feel light on my toes today! Finally, I've been able to cross a few things off my seemingly large work/life/wedding/DIY to do list. Last week was a big one! Completed my final Nate Berkus appearance and had a ball! It was my biggest challenge to date and became really time consuming at some points. Brooklyn Boy and I spent one weekend thrifting, the next reviving and finally, taping last Thursday, the 26th. Can't wait to tell you more about it!
In between filming, I met Jess & Monica of The Real Housewives of Bucks County - they were filming a segment that afternoon. These girls are ADORABLE and crazy talented, plus they're moms! How's that for a full plate. More to come on those gals.
Next big thing to complete on the to do list is the Reveal Valentine's Make over Event. I've worked with Reveal for the past 2 years. In fact, I met Brooklyn Boy a year ago at a Reveal Benefit! Reveal is a non-profit that provides monthly workshops and an annual make over event to women coming out of domestic & sexual abuse situations. Our big event is February 11th (in TEN days, Lordly Lord) and we are in full production mode. I'm heading up a bunch of the logistics for this years event, and confess to not have it together most of the time :)
It's an amazing event for an even better cause and am THRILLED to be part of it! If you live in the New York area and are interested in volunteering for the event, let me know! We still have a few spots available and would love to include you.
That's the update for now! Happy Wednesday!
