wedding print

wedding pictures are in! woo hoo!

I'll share pieces from the wedding over the next few weeks! But first things first. The Print!

I looove invitations and ridiculously thick paper. Reminds me of classic letter writing. There is something so special and charming about notes in the mail, right? So I knew I wanted to put some attention towards my printed pieces.

And because I love things a little challenging off the beaten track, I asked one of my close friends LeighAnn (who is a graphic designer, a bridesmaid in my wedding and a new neighbor in New York!) to create the look and feel! This girl is a Rock.Star. She handled the whole process with such grace and ease.

Oh and my dad took care of all the printing!  Can't forget all the hard work he put into this too :)

First: The Save the date

We used a picture our photographer friend, Karen Dickey, took at our engagement!

Then: The Invitations

We were very intentional with these invites. I wanted: Crazy heavy paper. Letter Press main invite. Map with key locations. Grey envelope. Darling stamps, including the Jessica Hisch Love Stamp on the response cards! Hand drawn elements. Modern and yet traditional feel.

Lastly: Out of Town Guest Boxes at the hotel

Brooklyn Boy and I had friends and family coming from all over the place. We live in New York, I went to Auburn, he went to Palm Beach Atlantic, I'm from Dallas, and he's from Charlottesville. No big deal. So it was important that our people know exactly what was going on and where! These boxes outlined the itinerary for the weekend and were filled with Texas Treats. I love me some organization.

Thats it for print. Next wedding update will be flowers!

Don't forget, you can still enter the Getaway Giveaway! You have until Friday at 12pm EST. Have fun!!
